The pujari
Your havan or puja is performed by the temple’s own pujari. Many of these families have looked after their temple for generations. He recites the sankalp for every devotee who joins, exactly as he would if you were sitting beside him.
Our crew
Our small team travels deep into the mountains to each temple. We set up beside the altar, live stream the ritual when the mountain network allows, and always record it in full so you have the video to keep. We also pack dry prasad from the temple and send it the same day.
Why it matters
The temples we work with are far from the pilgrim routes, and the people who keep them alive face hard winters with very little income. Many still carry food up to the sadhus meditating in the caves above. Your booking gives them a fair, steady income and a way to share their devotion with families everywhere.
The temple's own pujari, a priest who has looked after that temple for years, often for generations. He recites the sankalp for every devotee at the altar.
What does the Saa Thum crew do?
Our crew travels to the temple, sets up the camera, live streams when the network allows, records the whole ritual, and packs and sends your prasad.
Does my booking help the temple?
Yes. A fair share of every booking goes to the temple, its pujari and his village, and helps them through the hard mountain winters.
