Every live show and 1:1 session on Saathum is priced per hour, per person, in whole tokens. Saathum uses 100 Tokens = $1 as an internal accounting anchor. Buyers see a server-owned local-currency quote at checkout, with the quote and payment snapshot recorded immutably.
Setting your price
When you create or edit a listing, you enter a whole-number token price for one hour with one participant. The buyer pays that listing price for each booking or ticket, plus GST, at checkout.
There’s a floor: Saathum won’t accept a price below 49 tokens per hour for a paid live show or 1:1 session. The wizard and the server both refuse anything lower.
Marketplace listings (buy, sell, social items) don’t carry this per-hour structure or floor — you set a plain price for the item or offer.
Free listings
There’s a “this is a free show” option in the listing wizard, but as things stand it’s restricted to test accounts. On a regular creator account, turning it on and trying to publish will be refused — you’ll need to set a price to go live.
How buyers see it
Your listing price is shown in tokens. At checkout, the server supplies the local-currency quote and records the immutable quote/payment snapshot. Do not describe the internal anchor as a fixed local-currency conversion.
The fee
Saathum keeps a fee out of what a buyer pays; you don’t see it as a separate deduction when setting your price, but it does affect what you actually receive. See How the platform fee works for the details.
Changing your price later
You can edit a listing’s price after it’s published, the same way you’d edit any other detail from My listings. Enter a whole number of tokens — the server always rounds down to the nearest whole token, so there’s no such thing as a fractional price.
