The short version
Saathum is a platform for devotional and spiritual life, built around two things: paid live streaming and paid 1:1 video consultations. A creator publishes a listing — a live puja or darshan, a temple tour, a satsang, or a private astrology or spiritual-guidance session — and people browse the marketplace, book or join it, and pay for the creator’s time.
Two things you can do
Earn. Create a free listing and get paid to host a live devotional event or run 1:1 astrology and spiritual-guidance consultations. Listing is free — Saathum only takes a platform fee once you actually get paid.
Book. Browse the marketplace, join a live event, or book a creator’s time in a slot they’ve opened on their calendar.
Who’s behind it
Saathum was founded by three friends in India and is built and operated by that founding team, working out of Mumbai. It’s currently an unregistered business at the ideation and testing stage — no Indian company has been incorporated yet, and the site says so plainly rather than implying otherwise. Because the platform is still being tested, access is invite-only, features can change or be paused, and prices and token values shown are indicative during this period. Read more on the About page.
How a booking actually works
- A creator sets up a listing with a category, a description and a price in tokens. The internal accounting anchor is 100 Tokens = $1.
- A buyer finds it on the marketplace, and either joins a live event or books a private 1:1 slot.
- The session itself happens inside Saathum, so nobody needs to swap phone numbers to get it done.
- After the session, the creator’s share is recorded in their Saathum wallet. Withdrawal semantics are not yet available — see Withdrawing your earnings.
